WATER MELON COOLER

Last week, we had these three days with 38°C unusually hot for Germany but I could live with that.
So there really was a need for a cool drink on these days. And when it comes to cool you down, water melon and mint are just right. It tasted very mild and refreshing, melon and mint make the perfect match and the color is adorable.

ingredients

1 kg water melon

1,5 l water
a hand full of mint leaves
2 tbsp agave syrup if desired.

How you do it

Remove the water melon from the shell. Cut into 2 x 2 cm pieces or use a melon baller for little cute balls and put in a large bowl.
Roughly chop mint leaves and add them with the water and stir.
Cover and let rest in the refrigerator for about 2-4 hours. You can keep it in the fridge for about 3 days.

Serve cold with a wooden stick to pick out the melon pieces and if you want to add 1/3 off sparkling water before serving. Put some mint leaves on top and get refreshed.

I'm steeled with melon cooler so the hot days can come back. What's your secret to get refreshed? Xoxo Jess
